Greg has worked in the financial industry since 1992. He focuses on investment fiduciary practices, wealth management and investment consulting for private clients and institutions. Greg is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Retirement Income Industry Association (RIIA). He has received the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Investment Management (CIMA), Retirement Management Analyst (RMA) as well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA) certifications. He holds the Series 65 and Insurance licenses. Greg is a Trustee, member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee at University Child Development School, also serving as the Treasurer on the Advisory Board of Southwest Boys and Girls Club.

Phil has over 30 years of experience in the Investment Field. After earning a Bachelor of Science from Portland State University in economics, he began working for the First Interstate Bank of Oregon. He was promoted to Vice President and Manager of Trust Investments in Nevada. He obtained his CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 1990. Later in his career, he became a Senior Portfolio Manager at Laughlin/Dwight Asset Management, followed by ten years as Senior Vice President. He was most recently Chief Investment Officer at Focus Point Solutions for the H Group.

Art is Chief Investment Officer and Director for the Dynamic Investing Group. He manages the Dynamic Allocation Program for clients. He grew up in Massachusetts where aviation played a major role in his life as he learned to fly at age 16, holds a commercial pilot license and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining Northwest Asset Management, he was a principal and portfolio manager with IMS Capital Management and a portfolio manager with RBC Dain Rauscher and Salomon Smith Barney. He is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and provides regular market commentary on CNBC and FOX Business News.

Doug is the Chief Investment Officer for the Donnelly Portfolio Advisors. Doug started managing client assets in 1985 and spent over 25 of those years with the same firm. He has a BS degree in Business from Arizona State University and Masters in Industrial and Labor Relations from the University of Oregon. Author of the 1993 investment book "The Money Monarchs - The Secrets of 10 of America's Best Investment Managers". Co-winner of the Stock Traders Almanac best investment book of the year and featured as a "top 10" read by Forbes magazine columnist Kenneth Fisher. He is also multi-year winner of "Washington’s Top 25 Wealth Advisors" by the Winner's Circle and the Puget Sound Business Journal. He was named one of "America's Top 100 New Style Brokers" in 1994 by Financial Planning magazine. Doug has been married for almost 33 years to his wife Jeri. They have three boys - Connor, Ross and Patrick. Doug and Jeri are very active in the community with various children's causes and activities.

Although Rita was born and raised in Seattle she has many international life experiences that include serving as an Au Pair in France and teaching English in Japan. Prior to joining Northwest Asset Management, she was a principal at IMS Capital Management and an investment associate with RBC Dain Rauscher and Salomon Smith Barney. Rita earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Western Washington University.

Joe specializes in Fiduciary Investment Management and advice for Qualified Retirement plans, Foundations, Endowments, Trusts and individuals alike. Joe started his investment management career in 1993 with Smith Barney where he spent 14 years and most recently was a Senior Vice President and Financial Consultant with D.A. Davidson in Seattle. Prior to his investment career Joe was a practicing CPA and specialized in audits of large Multi-employer pension plans. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Washington University. Joe is a member of The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and holds a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designation from them as well as a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designation from the College of Financial planning. He also holds the Series 65 and insurance licenses. In his spare time, Joe volunteers as a manager and coach for his son’s Ice Hockey team as well as his daughter’s fast-pitch team. He also enjoys playing golf and ice hockey himself.

He developed an expertise in technical analysis for stocks and commodities during the mid-1990’s and has designed and traded multiple mechanical trading systems. Over the years he migrated into developing quantitative tools for overall portfolio management. Mark grew up in Wisconsin, received a bachelor’s degree in political philosophy from Oberlin College, and earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives and works in Deer Mountain, Utah where he pursues his hobbies of downhill skiing and hiking.

Prior to starting his first market job with Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1986, Steven worked primarily in the Soft Drink industry. Traveling up to fifty weeks a year in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean for ten years, brought a unique view of classic American industry, Steven left Drexel for A. G. Edwards & Sons in January of 1989 and continued with Edwards through their recent purchase first by Wachovia, and its subsequent purchase by Wells Fargo Bank.
Between 1990 and 2000 in addition to his broker duties, Steven taught a basic investing course (pro-bono), for North Seattle Community College. Since giving up teaching, he's been on the learning team by becoming an associate member of the Market Technicians Association. As of this writing, Steven has passed two of the three required exams to become a Chartered Market Technician. Steven says the market is surely one of mankind’s greatest inventions. "Every day the market teaches us something new, and sometimes the lesson can be as much about ourselves as it can be about the commerce of the world." Steven holds Series 65 license.

Nu brings her unique background, experience and perspective to the firm. She was born and raised in northern China, earned her B.S. degree in Science from Peking University in Beijing and obtained a Masters Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Northwest Asset Management, she worked with Art and Rita as a research analyst at IMS Capital Management, was a financial advisor with H&R Block Financial Advisors and a cancer research scientist for nearly 17 years. She holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
