Prior to starting his first market job with Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1986, Steven worked primarily in the Soft Drink industry. Traveling up to fifty weeks a year in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean for ten years, brought a unique view of classic American industry, Steven left Drexel for A. G. Edwards & Sons in January of 1989 and continued with Edwards through their recent purchase first by Wachovia, and its subsequent purchase by Wells Fargo Bank.
Between 1990 and 2000 in addition to his broker duties, Steven taught a basic investing course (pro-bono), for North Seattle Community College. Since giving up teaching, he’s been on the learning team by becoming an associate member of the Market Technicians Association. As of this writing, Steven has passed two of the three required exams to become a Chartered Market Technician. Steven says the market is surely one of mankind’s greatest inventions. “Every day the market teaches us something new, and sometimes the lesson can be as much about ourselves as it can be about the commerce of the world.” Steven holds Series 65 license.
