As a fiduciary, Jim has the duty to act in the best interest of his clients. Jim focuses on providing wealth management solutions to high net worth families, foundations and endowments as well as corporate retirement plans. Jim graduated from the University of Georgia where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance and a Minor in Japanese Language and Literature.
Jim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and is well versed in the areas of portfolio risk management, tax and legacy planning, and goals-based financial planning. Jim began his career in the investment industry in 2003 and has extensive experience in working with business owners and their extended families, especially those who have concentrated exposure to agricultural and timber assets.
He is passionate about employing a dynamic planning and asset management approach that is tailored to the unique needs of each client he serves. Helping clients to steward their assets in a manner that considers the dynamic nature of life and financial markets, Jim believes that a planning and investment approach that promotes maximum flexibility gives families the most optionality in helping them to best achieve well-defined long-term goals.
Originally from Soperton, Georgia, Jim spends most of his time outside of work involved in land stewardship, hunting, fly fishing and spending time with his wife and three children.
