Robert Toomey

Bob began his career in Boston as an analyst supporting the lending and investment activities for two large East Coast financial firms, Bank of Boston and SunLife of Canada (U.S.). He spent 15 years in Seattle as a securities analyst for two national brokerage firms, Piper Jaffray Companies and RBC Wealth Management. For the past 15 years Bob has been actively serving high net worth clients as a portfolio manager and financial planner with S.R. Schill & Associates, a registered investment advisor.


Bob holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. These designations are often considered the most demanding and highly regarded designations in the investment industry. Bob earned his B.A. in History from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and earned his MBA from Boston University. Over the years Bob has provided expert commentary in numerous articles and appearances in a wide range of media including CNBC, King5 News, KTCS Serious Money program, and the Seattle Times. In his spare time, Bob enjoys hiking, golf, and studying classical guitar.
